Who wrote this work first, John Donne or the person who wrote Conclave Ignatii in Latin under the pseudonym Lucius Cornelius Europaeus?
Was the latter simply a translation of Donne's work? Perhaps this can be determined by determining who Lucius Cornelius Europaeus was.
On worldcat.org I was not able to find a separate edition of Conclave Ignatii. The only editions I found were much later than 1611.

add an external link?
[edit]Where can we read this work? Currently, the external links point only to an excerpt, about 20% of the entire work. There's a seemingly excellent master's thesis containing a modernized spelling of the entire work, an annotated index (but not a complete concordance), a preface (of interest to scholars), an extensive discussion (of interest also to the casual reader), and an annotated bibliography. The thesis can be found at https://digitalarchives.aum.edu/sites/default/files/2025-02/Thesis_043_Ooi.pdf Bill Evans at Mariposa (talk) 08:21, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
