[edit]If the Henriade's critics were individually named and their criticisms were summarised, with some characteristic quotes, information would be transfered. The negative reaction hinted at here was from the Catholic hierarchy and that should be quoted too. Dates of the second and third editions would suggest the poem's popularity.
