Samuel Pepys was made a captain in the Royal Navy so that he could take part in court-martials, including the court-martial of this ship’s captain who ashore when the ship was lost. []. This is all OR-ish as far as I know but might there be someone out there who could dig out enough material for an article? Springnuts (talk) 08:18, 20 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
