Main sequence vs. horizontal branch
[edit]I'm skeptical of some of the Details parameters for this star, because many have been derived by assuming a main sequence star. For example, Trundle et al (2001) model it as a horizontal branch star and get 0.5 solar masses. Hopefully in the future there will be a more thorough analysis. - The article broadly treats the horizontal-branch interpretation as fact, so it might be best to display the properties from Trundle et al (2001) in the starbox. Lithopsian (talk) 15:51, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
- Or two sets of properties? Lithopsian (talk) 15:54, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
- I guess we could use the two component designations of the details template to distinguish between the interpretations. Praemonitus (talk) 18:58, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
