Galloway is now in forced Exile

[edit]

Per an interview with Tucker, apparently G Galloway is now in forced exile and has his property taken from him, Inclusion warranted? Inayity (talk) 14:45, 2 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Just because he describes it that way doesn't mean it is that way, so at best we could attribute that statement to him; and just because he says something doesn't make that opinion WP:DUE. What secondary coverage exists? What do they say? --Aquillion (talk) 14:47, 2 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I would indeed be surprised if this were actually true (I'm not sure what "forced exile" is supposed to actually mean) so yes at best it'd have to be attributed, if his statement is even notable. — Czello (music) 14:54, 2 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
I Found no secondary sources that are RS.Inayity (talk) 15:03, 2 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
If the latter bit is true, surely a reliable secondary source will cover it. The former should be included only with attribution. Yue 02:29, 3 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Tiananmen Square

[edit]

Regarding Galloway's 2011 remarks regarding Tiananmen Square, is this Independent article a reliable source? I found some sources criticizing him for these remarks, but they're mostly opinion pieces. JPHC2003 (talk) 08:00, 1 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

It is described as a Diary so it seems like opinion and the tone of the text comes across as opinion. I can't find any decent sources which include that quote or any other coverage of Galloway's view on Tiananmen Square. It seems to be an insignificant part of his bio.
