Ongoing practice
[edit]The article seems to imply that this practice is mostly regulated to the past when actually it is extremely popular even now. Copyright stuff
[edit]The bit about four-wall distribution being some sort of magic trick that delays "publication" for copyright purposes is pseudolegal nonsense, and if you trace the citations it ultimately comes from the CEO of a porn tape company with no legal qualifications just asserting it in his own interest.
