I think there is a distinction to be made between the software type of solution (i.e. France and Portugal) and the Service based type of solution (i.e. Slovenia and Croatia)

Norway, Spain and Belgium should be added to the list of Fiscal Countries as well as others especially in Latin America.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.99.223.101 (talk) 15:14, 17 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Specifically the Basque region of Spain (for now). DeweyQ (talk) 17:51, 4 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

"Fiscalization Compliance management" subsection + additional categories

[edit]

Hi all — I noticed the article currently has a maintenance note asking for more categories, and at the moment it’s only categorized under fiscal policy. Would it make sense to also add categories that more directly match the topic, such as VAT, Compliance, POS (Point of sale) etc.?

Also, the article covers definition and technical approaches, but it has only limited coverage of the *operational/ongoing* side (planning, stakeholder communication, monitoring, and measuring impact). The IMF and OECD both describe fiscalization / online cash register programs as requiring integration with compliance risk management and structured implementation planning (including monitoring and operational resourcing). I’ve drafted a short, neutral “Fiscalization Compliance management” subsection below with high-quality sources, in case an uninvolved editor wants to add it.

(Disclosure: I work in the retail/POS & fiscalization domain and may have a conflict of interest. I’m proposing only a narrowly-scoped, source-based addition and would prefer that an uninvolved editor make the edit if they agree.) KaitoShui (talk) 17:06, 6 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
