Lead Image

[edit]

The lead image, as of now, is an 18th-century rendering of an early modern dragon, not largely a historical European dragon as the article mainly describes. It also does not reflect the image of a dragon from that time period. I propose replacing the image with the cropped and brightened image of St Catherine, St George, and the Dragon, as is currently used as the lead image of the broader Dragon article.

I also mention this because Google and other search engines seem confused when trying to bring up images of the dragon, bringing up this obscure image instead of a more widely known and widely applicable portrayal, like the previously mentioned image. TheUnit 72 (talk) 01:39, 8 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
