Possibly, since you can't even search anything for Dexter: Resurrection on WGA. To be clear though, they never advertise Dexter: Resurrection as "season 2" or "a new season" though. When it was ordered to series, they called it "sequel series" only. So, this is not a season article. — YoungForever^(talk) 23:28, 22 June 2025 (UTC)

Notable guest stars subheading

The Notable guest stars subheading is for listing notable guest stars only. It is not for listing every single guest stars. Labeling it as "Guest", "Guests", "Guest stars", or "Guest starring" only is misleading because it is for notable guest stars only, not for whoever is a guest star. "Guest", "Guests", "Guest stars", or "Guest starring" label would open doors to editors adding anyone who isn't recurring or starring cast to the subsection. In addition, some of them are actually credited as "Special guest star", meaning they are a level above regular guest stars. I don't see how "Notable guest stars" subheading is problematic since it is what the subsection is for. — YoungForever^(talk) 17:50, 9 August 2025 (UTC)

The ones I linked? Surely you mean the ones you unlinked? It’s a bold edit that has been reverted several times now. I don’t see anything wrong with the links; they do not make the page less readable or helpful, and your reason for removing them seems to be nothing other than a pedantic, clinical citing of MOS:OVERLINK devoid of any other argument. @Keeper of Albion: You do not even have a valid argument right now because you chose to ignore MOS:OVERLINK by linking words/phrases as shown here that are clearly what generally should not be linked. Per MOS:OVERLINK, words and terms understood by most readers in context are usually not linked. In addition, you were reverted by multiple editors. YoungForever is correct here. This is a serious case of overlinking, with nothing changing except the case of letters, like [[Secret society|secret society]], and overlinking of textbook terms? I've changed the season page to a redirect back to the main page. Start a proper split discussion if/when the time is right. And that time could be once a season 2 article is ready to be created (per WP:NFTV), but it's likely all info for the first two season can remain on this page for a while. Think that would be pretty premature:

• Prose size (including all HTML code): 12 kB
• Prose size (text only): 5345 B (875 words) "readable prose size"

Per WP:SIZERULE, anything under 6000 words does not justify splitting:

• < 6,000 words
  • Length alone does not justify division or trimming. 98.5% of all Wikipedia articles, and 76% of all Wikipedia:Featured articles, are shorter than this.
