Kadet/Kadets or KD-ets/KD-tsy (KD/KDs)?

The name "kadet" suggests they had (ridiculous) military pretensions. Might it be an English-language misunderstanding of a Russian word KD-ets (plural KD-tsy), "member of the KD"? If so, "KD" (plural "KDs") might be a better translation. Hcunn (talk) 05:51, 16 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Party of People's Freedom former name?

Is it correct to label Party of People's Freedom (Конституционно-демократическая партия) as a "former" name. The Russian Wikipage suggests thats its more of an alternative name that was adopted during the Second Congress (January 5–11, 1906). Dwyer118 (talk) 10:40, 20 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
