Grokipedia?

[edit]

Should "Grokipedia" be linked in the § See also section? It was added by ArtemisiaGentileschiFan in Diff/1314300330. It's not it's own article, it's a redirect to Grok (chatbot) § Grokipedia, so I edited the link to point there instead even though it's WP:NOTBROKEN. I don't have any strong feelings as to it's inclusion or exclusion, but I figured it's worth asking what makes sense. Gurkubondinn (talk) 17:08, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

MOS:SEEALSO is pretty broad, so it's not that outlandish. Personally, since it doesn't have more than a short paragraph and doesn't really exist yet, I think it's unnecessary atm. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 18:01, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Fair, I’ll just leave it. Those two should fit together like uninformed peas in a pod anyway. Gurkubondinn (talk) 18:42, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Should we also add Wikipedia in the see also section because although they are very different, conservapedia is a sort of odd reflection of wikipedia The Ars Goetia (talk) 03:17, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
No, but I linked it in the article, there actually wasn't a link already, just to sub-articles. So now it's not needed per MOS:NOTSEEALSO. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 12:53, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Alright sounds good The Ars Goetia (talk) 18:52, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Obvious Parody?

[edit]

I think it's troubling how blatantly obviously it is that the site is parody a la Encyclopedia Dramatica or the CWCki and yet nothing here even entertains that idea. I honestly don't how anyone can hear "We're going to rewrite the Bible to 'deliberalize' it" and not immediately recognize that as tongue-in-cheek reference to the "Sinicization of Christianity" campaign that's been in the news for years.

I'm not even saying they're secretly not conservative, I'm just saying that it's very nieve to assume that people won't exaggerate or outright lie about that they believe in order to mess with people they don't like. ~2026-41282-22 (talk) 17:25, 23 July 2026 (UTC)Reply

You should read WP:OR and WP:NOTFORUM. Also Poe's Law. --Hob Gadling (talk) 19:00, 23 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
