According to the current definition in the article, if both elements of one pair are equal to the corresponding elements of the other pair, then the pair is simultaneously concordant and discordant, as

However, in real-life applications (for example, in the ConDisPairs function in the DescTools package in R, if I am checking this correctly), such a pair is treated as neither concordant nor discordant, but rather as a tied pair.

Is there an alternative (optional) definition that accounts for this, or is the current definition in the article inaccurate? Blakocha (talk) 15:52, 17 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
