What is the deal with the english language on this page?
[edit]There's something wrong with the assembly of words, and the vernacular. This article wasn't written by someone speaking english as a first language. It looks like it was ripped right off of a chinese website, or written by a chinese person. Chinese speakers who learn english as a second language speak exactly like this when they are translate chinese into english. Why is it that there is this lack of accuracy and precision on the language control and correction services? Can't we adjust the language, as english speakers, so that it sounds to the ear and appears to the reader as being proper english? Can't we write correctly? Can't we source our information from non-chinese sources? Where are our own sources? Why use chinese-sounding english? 97.93.106.202 (talk) 21:52, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
Compared to what?
[edit]The article says: "Coil zippers offer higher horizontal strength. Coil zippers are also easier to repair", etc -- but nowhere here does it say what these attributes are in comparison to, or even what other kind of zippers might exist! What's the baseline here? The linked webpage doesn't say. 2601:602:8D00:5C61:3CD5:CB01:62D6:CEC1 (talk) 22:16, 20 October 2025 (UTC)
