[edit]
  • Шарл Шампо, Sharl Shampov, and Charles Champoff are currently unsourced in the article. I see that Ref 5 mentions his Bulgarian name.
    • Cited in infobox.
  • Have you maybe had a look at Bulgarian newspapers online (if any are available)?
    • Most don't have any other substantial information besides the one included in the article already.
  • How did you conclude that Ref 1 (SEGA) was a reliable source? The rest look okay to me.
    • I can see they've partnered with Deutsche Welle... the site has been published as a newspaper for some years in Bulgaria but is now entirely online as of 2022.
  • Image is properly licensed.
  • Prose looks okay.
  • Spotchecked Ref 1, 3, 4, 6, 8 – all look good.
  • From Ref 1 maybe we could include the following information:
  • Here is what Todor Yonchev says about Charles Champeau's performance: "The headman Champo appeared at the stadium and amazed the spectators with several selected physical exercises in a competition with 17 competitors from 5 countries."
  • I haven't added this, considering spectators did go to sports events to be amazed I wouldn't consider it substantial enough to be added.
  • The participation in Athens brought Charles Champeau considerable fame in our country and the Bulgarian people even began to call him Charles Champov.
  • Added.
  • According to our great sports historian Prof. Raina Bardareva, who years ago did a thorough research, there is evidence that Champot represented our country in Athens 1896.
  • Worded somehow.
