Why is this called the Burrowing Parrot? Is this the species that excavates nesting cavities in cliff faces? I only know of this species as a pet bird. --Kurt Shaped Box (talk) 19:45, 18 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Doesn't the Patagonian Conure dig nesting holes in cliffs?

Isn't that a characteristic and unique behavior of this parrot?

I believe the given wingspan refers to ONE wing? It doesn't sound realistic as the complete wingspan. Wulfila21 (talk) 15:53, 29 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
