km is the unit of measure in Australia. Please do not update with miles conversion. Reverted. Many of our readers come from the United States where distances are still measured in miles, even in 2009. Having distances shown in both is not unreasonable. -- Mattinbgn\^talk 04:55, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Whilst I understand both of your points of view, miles are no longer relevant in Australia and perhaps the world should not pander to the minority living in the USA.
