There is no mention as to the pedigree or reasoning behind this man's name. I've known many people who's fathers silly joke haunted their lives like a bad coat you can't remove. I've seen kids named Jesus Christ, Apollo, Blue, Left. These kids spent a huge amount of their childhood dealing with the ramifications of some lame name choice. One guy felt it would help give his son a start to bec I'm Ming a real man. He just got teased and taunted. Eventually he just powered above his classmates with his intellect but it backfired on dad as his son found his same sex calling at a very young age.
