Presently, it says on the page that "the language has maintained nuclear archaisms from its Niger-Congo linguistic root, and is considered one of the oldest languages spoken in Africa." However, because languages are not born out of nothing and there is always more or less of a continuity with earlier speech forms, in linguistics comparisons between 'older' and 'younger' languages aren't usually made. Bube words from old revision
