Tabasco
[edit]The article says: In Mesoamerica, it was domesticated and C. annuum became the parent to the cayenne, bell, jalapeño, and tabasco peppers. Tabasco is C. frutescens, not C. annuum. This text implicitly suggests speciation of C. frutescens occurred in the process of domesticating C. annuum, a claim not made at its article and not supported by any source.
