- The nominator is the top author according to XTools. There appear to be no copyright violations or plagiarism. Images appear to be licensed appropriately, and the non-free image has a solid non-free use rationale. Images are relevant to the subject of the article. Subject is notable, based on what I find in Google, Google Books, Google Scholar, Internet Archive Scholar, JSTOR, Gale, ProQuest, Project MUSE, Wiley Online Library, and Oxford Academic. I formatted the ISBNs. The article appears to be broad, neutral, and stable despite its recency. The prose appears to be strong. A more detailed review may be forthcoming, but I should be able to fix any issues I come across myself. Z. Patterson (talk) 00:35, 19 July 2026 (UTC)
- @Generalissima: The article also appears to have no original research. Any corrections that were needed were easy, so I was WP:BOLD and fixed them myself. I am passing this as a good article. Z. Patterson (talk) 12:39, 19 July 2026 (UTC)

- ... that a 2001 academic text psychoanalyzed the sexuality of otaku?
- Source: Have you ever wanted to psychoanalyze an otaku? If so, you are not alone, for psychiatrist Saito Tamaki has done just that in Beautiful Fighting Girl, drawing upon the psychoanalytic tradition of Jacques Lacan to explore the otaku fascination with the beautiful fighting girl. Bikkuriman?
[edit]Bikkuriman is mentioned without any clue to what that word means. A thing? A person? TooManyFingers (he/him · talk) 06:17, 4 September 2026 (UTC)
- I've added a link to the page, Bikkuriman. It seems to be an anime franchise that originated with characters from stickers that were packed with snacks. ArtemisiaGentileschiFan (talk) 20:40, 23 September 2026 (UTC)
