False Claimant

There is someone trying to claim this peerage without legal causes stating "Barony was gifted to Sir Douglas Middleton KBE after he was awarded a life peerage in the House of Lords in the Political Peerages appointments". This is erroneous as 1) an extinct hereditary peerage can't be "gifted" 2) A life peerage isn't the same as an hereditary peerage 3) this person is not part of 2022 Political Honours list releases in October 2022.
