North and South Atlantic Oceans.

The article claims that "The Atlantic Ocean is divided in two parts, by the Equatorial Counter Current, with the North(ern) Atlantic Ocean and the South(ern) Atlantic Ocean split at about 8°N." However, according to International Hydrographic Organization the border lies at the equator. See: International Hydrographic Organization, Limits of Oceans and Seas, 3rd ed. The history section has nothing to do with the Atlantic Ocean

The history section really needs fixing

Some of the wording implies that the transatlantic slave trade was some essential service to repopulate the Americas to “replace” indigenous people. "Exported" is the wrong word for kidnapping and trafficking Webmaven87 (talk) 01:06, 10 March 2025 (UTC)

Atlantic Ocean → The Atlantic OceanThe Atlantic Ocean – "The Atlantic Ocean" is a more proper name, as well as better grammar.
