Feedback from New Page Review process
[edit]I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Needs additional sources for notability.
Power cable
[edit]Is this the model that requires a special tool to remove the power cable?
- Owen, Malcolm (Mar 21, 2022). "Apple's Studio Display uses a unique power connection, but don't pull it out".

10-bit depth
[edit]Can this be verified? Apple makes a distinction between "1.07 billion colors" (Pro Display XDR) and "Support for 1 billion colors" (Studio Display and Studio Display XDR). "Support for 1 billion colors" suggests a wider color gamut is achieved from a less-than-10-bit panel using some dithering technique. ~2026-19038-24 (talk) 13:03, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- 8-bit + FRC simulates 10-bit well enough (for most applications) that the industry is not strict about stating the distinction. ~2026-28599-23 (talk) 13:07, 12 May 2026 (UTC)

Apple Studio Display → Apple Studio Display (2022–present) – There are two lines named "Apple Studio Display": the first sold from 1998 through 2004, and the other one currently sold since 2022. Slackintosh (talk) 00:41, 23 September 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose: This is clearly the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for Apple's Studio Display line, and there is no need that I can see to further disambiguate this at this time. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 01:15, 23 September 2026 (UTC)
- Support No primary topic - the pageviews of the 1998-2004 model are lower but not enough to indicate the 2022-present model is distinctly more impactful. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 06:40, 23 September 2026 (UTC)
- Support I suggest the article be moved to Apple Studio Display (2022-present) to be on the safe side. (◕ᴗ◕✿) Zahrazamedahmedi (🗨️My Talk Page🗨️) (🫗My Mistakes🫗) 06:58, 23 September 2026 (UTC)
