Thoughts on the notability tag

Hi everyone,

I saw the notability tag on the article and wanted to discuss it. I think this subject actually fits the WP:CREATIVE, specifically the part about creating a "significant or well-known work of art" (Criterion 3).

Anthony Supreme created the cover art and packaging for J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only, which is a Platinum-certified album. The artwork itself was a big enough deal to get its own feature stories in Billboard, Complex, and The Fader.

I know those sources have interview parts in them, but the magazines themselves are top-tier and independent. The fact that they wrote full articles specifically about the creation of his work shows that it's significant in the field, not just a trivial mention.

I'm just not convinced that two profiles make for notability (multiple is more than one, yes, but two is stretching it) and that the album cover itself qualifies as a significant work of art. @Iseult, Thanks for the reply. That’s fair, I see where you're coming from. Just to clarify though, I was counting three main sources (Billboard, Complex, and Fader) that focused on the artwork. Since the album went Platinum, I assumed the cover would qualify as a 'significant work' under the guideline. I’ll wait and see what the other reviewers think. Thanks again. Hi @Sisigegg & @Iseult, NPP reviewer here. Based on the multiple independent sources' coverage of the author's work, I'm inclined to leave it. I agree it's borderline, but I think just makes the cut.
