List of wrongful convictions

[edit]

I'm going to be busy for a few days, but if someone gets a chance, an entry for Hinton should be added to the List of wrongful convictions in the United States. :-) Bali88 (talk) 18:17, 4 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Added his name, but havent got time to add notes yet. Also, some exact dates need to be found out. Sohebbasharat (talk) 19:12, 4 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Christian faith

[edit]

It seems strange not to even mention the Christian faith that Mr Hinton says was important to him surviving those 30 years. Even The Guardian article mentions “religious faith” 148.64.28.88 (talk) 09:37, 13 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Lack of Evidence

[edit]

Wrongful Conviction, but does 'wrongful conviction' = 'he was innocent'?

It seems that not much weight is given in this article to explaining that although they can not prove that the bullets came from Hinton's mom's gun, he was identified by a survivor and no one else has been accused of these crimes, clearly he is considered a bigger victim than the two men who were murdered by 'someone'.

In his book, he says that an investigative journalist tracked down the real murderer, who had been held in a neighboring jurisdiction on assault and robbery suspicions. Yes, he was innocent.  Preceding unsigned comment added by Lapoesienimpose (talkcontribs) 14:53, 3 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
