I chose this article because I was interested in the sounds that come from such an isolated place. While looking up noises that are integrated in this environment, I stumbled upon something different and grew interested in this body of water.

This article provides a solid leading section that defines the topic and gives a good general overview of it. It identifies its physical features, which gives readers a good idea of how large this body of water is and also the location of where it is located.

The article's content is relevant to the topic with clear sections with geography, history, Fauna, and reference sections. This gives us readers a strong foundation of the essential details. This article includes a section for fauna, but I think to improve it, adding a section on antarctic flora. Although this region is cold, there are various species, including mosses, lichens, and algae, according to the Australian Antarctic Program.

This wikipedia article is written from a neutral point of view, and there aren't any heavily biased claims. It is purely informing us of this Antarctic region and isn't throwing around arguments.

This article has many citations and has a reference page that works to open up external links. Clicking on a couple, they are strong sources coming from the USGS or the United States Department of the Interior, which are reliable. The article was last updated on January 25th, 2026 which is reliably up-to-date.

Overall this article showcases a solid block of information regarding the Antarctic sound. There are images displayed in the article and maps to show where things are located.
