Music videos

I recently added a "Music videos" section that was rescued from an old version of the main article for Alex G. However I'm not sure if a few videos should be included there. Sources for the early music videos of him are pretty rare. Below I'll talk about those which I'm not sure should be included or not.

"After Ur Gone", directed by Linnea Nugent: Pretty sure this one is official, but could use a reference. It's posted on the director's channel and not a label's or Alex's.
"Sorry", directed by Sirus F. Gahan: I think this was official too, but was only posted on Vimeo back in the day, and only a few months ago appeared on YouTube, again, only on the director's channel.
"Advice", directed by Abi Reimold: Video by one of Alex's collaborators, only posted on the director's channel.
"Icehead", directed by Emily Yacina: Video by one of Alex's collaborators, only posted on the director's channel.
"Gnaw", "Sarah" and "Witch", directed by David Dean Burkhart: Pretty sure all three are unofficial videos, but since he has collaborated officially with a few artists, I guess there could be an argument for their inclusion.
"Bug" (Live), directed by Justin Sirizzotti: Should live videos be included? This one was posted on the record label's channel.
"Poison Root" (Live), directed by Scott Perry: Same as above, except this was posted on The FADER YouTube channel.
"Hope", directed by Alex Giannascoli and Madalyn Freeman: Although labeled as an "Official Video", this feels like a visualizer at most. It's a vertical video of a puppet.

For now, I've included the videos for "After Ur Gone", "Sorry" and "Hope". Dotoilage (talk) 14:04, 6 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
