Hello editors, I initially came to this article because I had been using Portes as a source for other articles I was writing, and thought to make a couple of additions. I found myself fascinated by the man's contributions to sociology and ended up building the article out entirely from the stub that existed. One look at his Google Scholar profile will show you the hundreds of essays he has written, and the importance of many of his studies can be found throughout Wikipedia as well as in JSTOR and the other scholarly aggregators. I attempted to build an article that structurally organizes his studies. Any help or changes are welcome.JondeJon1 (talk) 16:38, 13 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
