The Adam Hoffman who got the plea deal appears to be an attorney. That wouldn’t necessarily preclude him from also being a federal government official, though. And, they are both Texan. Still, WP: BLP means we have to be very, very careful about equating the two unless we have definite proof they are actually the same person.
