Interesting article. Will review this. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 (My "blotter") 04:05, 21 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

General

[edit]
  • I believe you should move some parts of the predominating "Tornado summary section" and place them in a new "Impact" section, since a singular section in a Tornado GA article seems unacceptable to me. An example of this is the article on the 1904 Chappaqua tornado.

Lead

[edit]
  • twisters recorded theretwisters recorded with that intensity Done.
  • It was one of a handful of Florida tornadoes to claim three or more lives. this is very specific/sounds like trivia. I suggest changing this into a sentence detailing it as one of the most damaging tornadoes at that time. I could not find any information about this aspect, other than an article saying it was the 'worst' to date in Florida (which is not very useful).

Climatological background

[edit]
  • (Conversely, in 1925 La Niña was ongoing.[12]) why do you need to add parentheses on this? I have removed them.

Meteorological synopsis

[edit]
  • Nothing wrong here.

Tornado summary

[edit]
  • the twister tore at stables not really sure if you need "at" Done.
  • many thousand viewers what does many thousand viewers mean? I have changed 'viewers' to 'people'.
  • "scrambled mess of everything", kindly remove comma Done.

Aftermath

@TheNuggeteer: Can you merge my draft with the main article page, or ask an administrator to do so? CapeVerdeWave (talk) 18:38, 1 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@TheNuggeteer: As requested, I have pasted the draft in the article. Please feel free to add the GA icon(s). CapeVerdeWave (talk) 18:42, 2 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@CapeVerdeWave: I am very sorry for taking long to review the rest! I am done, and there is only one issue left to fix. Apologies, 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 (My "blotter") 12:12, 13 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@TheNuggeteer: I also apologize for approving the GA, since I assumed that, the review having been done, you were busy. I just need a bit more specificity as to the AGF points and citation no. 32. CapeVerdeWave (talk) 14:04, 14 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@CapeVerdeWave: AGF means I cannot access the source, so I just accept it in good faith, no problems there. I just found out that source 32 is actually the same story (except 3A, separate it into "Two Automobile Wrecks LA On Way to Tornado Scene" and all instances that are sourced to it since I don't think it is a continuation). 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 (My "blotter") 14:21, 14 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
I'll just accept the passing. This is a minor issue. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 (My "blotter") 09:17, 16 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
