South Winterborne

The South Winterborne is a chalk stream and Winterbourne river in Dorset, England.[1] It flows through the following places from its source to the point where it joins the River Frome.

The river only flows overground during the winter, hence the name. It flows through a number of villages with a first name of "Winterborne" or “Winterbourne”.
