The 91R Otvet is a type of anti-submarine missile used by the Russian Navy which entered service in 2020[1]
Synopsis
[edit]The Otvet missile can be fired from the 3S-14 universal launchers on both surface ships and submarines. It is a variant of the Kalibr missile, with designation 91R.[1]
The Sea Underwater Weapon - Gidropribor Group, which is part of the Tactical Missiles Corporation, developed the missile.[2]
History
[edit]The Otvet was accepted into the Russian Navy for Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates in 2020.[1]
