Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2026 was the fourth edition of the Miss Grand Dominican Republic pageant, held on 4 July 2026 at the Teatro La Fiesta, Hotel Jaragua, Santo Domingo.[1][2] Thirty-one contestants representing the provinces of the Dominican Republic, as well as Dominican communities in the United States, Italy, and Germany, competed for the title.[3][4]
At the conclusion of the event, Keitty Tatiana Familia of Monte Plata was crowned the winner.[5] She earned the right to represent the Dominican Republic at Miss Grand International 2026, to be held in India in October 2026.[3][6] Meanwhile, fifth runner-up Yaribel Severino Maldonado, representing Comunidad Dominicana en Alemania, was appointed to represent the Dominican Republic at the second edition of MGI All Stars,[7] scheduled to be held in Thailand in December 2026.[8]
The pageant was broadcast on Telecentro and Telemicro[5] and was organized by the Misses of DR Organization under the direction of its president, Jorge Cruz, and national director Alejandro Martínez.[3][4]

[edit]The pageant was originally scheduled to be held on 4 July 2026 at the Teatro La Fiesta, Hotel Jaragua, Santo Domingo,[1][2] but was later postponed to 18 July 2026 and relocated to the Cibao Grand Theatre in Santiago de los Caballeros. The official press presentation was held at Hotel Jaragua on 13 July, where the 31 contestants representing the provinces of the Dominican Republic and Dominican communities abroad were formally introduced.[3]
Selection of contestants
[edit]In addition to the central selection conducted by the national organizer, regional organizers were authorized to select local representatives either through direct appointments or by organizing local pageants.[1] For the 2026 edition, however, only one local pageant was held to determine a contestant for the national competition, as detailed below.

Initially, 36 contestants were confirmed to participate,[10] but five later withdrew from the competition, reducing the final field to 31 contestants.[3][11]
