Hekimhan is a municipality and district of Malatya Province, Turkey.[2] Its area is 1,514 km2,[3] and its population is 15,706 (2022).[1] It is located in the upper Euphrates in Eastern Anatolia. Hekimhan is 1,075 m above sea level. The highest point in Hekimhan is Zurbahan mountain (2,091 m). The mayor is Mehmet Şerif Yıldırım (New Party).
Historical sites
[edit]Taşhan caravanserai (constructed by the Seljuk Turks),[4] a hamam (Turkish bathhouse) and a mosque built by the Ottomans are some notable historical structures in the town.
