God Save the Three is the first collaborative studio album by American singer-songwriter Glaive and Welsh record producer Kurtains. It was released on May 8, 2026, through Broke under the Slowsilver03 imprint. The album came together after years of previous collaboration between the two artists, with Kurtains having a guest appearance on Glaive's third studio album, Y'all, the previous year. It was preceded by the single "The Troubles", released on April 24, 2026.
Background
[edit source]Glaive and Kurtains met when they were 14 years old. Glaive says collaborative work between the two came in the moment after Kurtains visited Asheville, and wasn't planned.[1] Glaive released his third studio album, Y'all, on September 26, 2025, with Kurtains being featured on the track "Modafinil".[2] After the album's release, Glaive teased that him and Kurtains had been working on more music as early as July 2025, but briefly paused once Kurtains left Asheville. Glaive made a trip to the United Kingdom in September 2025 and continued recording with Kurtains at studios within the Cotswolds. [3]
The lead single, "The Troubles" was previewed on September 26, 2025, during the Y'all release party, with the collaborative album being announced that same day.
Music and composition
[edit source]The album expands on the artists' previous collaborations, and is primarily genres such as indie rock and alternative pop, but also has elements that the two are known for, such as digicore and hyperpop. The album is entirely composed solely by Glaive and Kurtains, as the album features zero guest appearances and no other production credits, besides on the track "The Front".[4]
Release
[edit source]The album released on May 8, 2026 to digital streaming services. The album consists of 12 tracks with a total runtime of 29 minutes. The album was distributed through Label Engine by Broke Records underneath the alias "Slowsilver03". A tour was announced on May 11, 2026, with different dates throughout North America and Europe. Tiffany Day will be the supporting act in the North America dates.[5]
