Freya Marske is an Australian fantasy and romance author and podcaster.[1]
Marske's novels, which she has defined as romantasy, also spotlight queer romance. Her fantasy trilogy, The Last Binding, is set in a fantastic version of the Edwardian Era.[2] The trilogy was nominated for a Hugo Award in 2024 in the "Best Series" category.[3]
She co-hosted the Hugo-nominated podcast Be the Serpent for four years.

Personal life
[edit]Marske is a medical doctor.[6] She has one child.[7] She is a member of the LGBTQ community.[8]
