Volkoder (born Marcos Benedetti) is a Brazilian DJ and record producer from São Paulo. His music is associated with house and tech house.[1]
Career
[edit]Volkoder began releasing electronic music in the late 2000s. His career gained wider attention in 2014 with the release of his Detroit EP, which received support from DJs including Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Carl Cox, Marco Carola and Nic Fanciulli. During this period, he released music through labels including Kittball, Toolroom, Suara, Snatch! OFF, Material and Hot Creations.[2][3]
In 2015, Volkoder received the Best Newcomer DJ and Best Producer awards at the RMC Awards, according to an interview published by Brazilian electronic music website Alataj.[4]
In January 2016, DJ Mag included Volkoder in its Ones to Watch Out For 2016 feature. The publication identified him as Marcos Benedetti and reported that he had been releasing music since the late 2000s. It also noted his releases on labels including Hot Creations, Suara, Toolroom, Kittball, Material and Snatch!, and reported that his name had gained attention in the Beatport charts during 2015.[5]
Volkoder has also released music through labels including Dirtybird, Catch & Release, Spinnin' and other electronic music imprints. His work has included remixes for artists such as Guy Gerber, Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer and Tiger Stripes.[6]

In July 2026, Volkoder collaborated with English electronic music duo CamelPhat on the single "Unique Moment", released through When Stars Align. Beatportal reported that Volkoder had a career spanning more than 15 years and more than 400 releases, and had released music through labels including Hot Creations, Suara, Dirtybird and Catch & Release.[9]
In August 2026, Volkoder collaborated with Anyma on "Other Dimension", released as part of the ÆDEN: Digital Renaissance Vol. I compilation associated with the launch of Anyma's ÆDEN Records.[10]
