The Connecting Miami Project is a now $866 million project that will overhaul the 836/I-95/395 interchange.[1]
In July 2018, Archer Western – de Moya Group Joint Venture did a announcement announcing the connecting miami project, originally $802 million, The project would expand the I-95/SR 836/I-395 interchange, and also completely overhalling the entire I-395 highway.[2]
The main focus is the I-395 Signature Bridge that will have 6 arches peaking at 330 ft, and will span 1025 ft, will go over Biscayne Boulevard and NE 2 Ave, and have a park below of it.[3]
In 2023, The budget grew to $818 Million and in 2026 the budget is now $866 Million.[4]
