Taraneh Enterprises Inc.,[3] formerly and commonly referred to as Taraneh Records (Persian: شرکت ترانه), is an American Persian music record label.[4] It was founded in 1981, two years after the Iranian Revolution in 1979 and most had pre-revolutionary artists who work with Taraneh Records had left Iran in order to continue their music careers since music was censored by the Islamic Republic. Notable artists who have worked with Taraneh Records include: Googoosh, Hayedeh, Moein, Mahasti, Ebi, Dariush and Andy.[5][6]
