Neshat Fast Food (Template:Lang-fa, Aghziyeh Neshat) is an Iranian fast-food restaurant established in 1971, with its flagship branch located on Sattarkhan Street in Tehran, Iran. It is widely recognized as one of the oldest fast-food establishments in Tehran, famous particularly for popularizing Doner kebab (known locally as Kabab Torki) and roasted chicken in the country.
History
[edit]Neshat Fast Food was founded in 1971 (1350 SH) by Emam Verdi Ghaffari. At the time of its establishment, the restaurant introduced new styles of street food to the Iranian capital, and it is considered one of the pioneers of introducing roasted chicken and Turkish kebab to Iran. Over the decades, it has maintained its reputation as a prominent culinary landmark on Sattarkhan Street, frequently drawing long queues of customers.
Menu and operations
[edit]Neshat's menu focuses on casual Iranian fast food, featuring generous portions of Doner kebab (served either in sandwich form or as a platter), hamburgers, and oven-roasted chicken. The main flagship location is divided into two sections: one dedicated to take-away and standing orders, and another functioning as a dining hall for seated customers. The establishment has since opened additional branches in other neighborhoods of Tehran.
