Mads Korsgaard (born 2 September 1979) is a Danish actor, singer and producer whose work has spanned theatre, opera, film, television and radio across the Nordic countries, Germany and Britain.[1][2][3]
Education
[edit source]Korsgaard studied classical singing at the Royal College of Music, Stockholm before continuing his acting training at the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting.[4]
Career

[edit source]Korsgaard has performed in theatre, musical and opera productions in Denmark and Sweden.[5][6][7]
Reviewing Anton Chekhov's Ivanov, theatre critic Lars Ring of Svenska Dagbladet described Korsgaard's performance as Dr. Lvov as "excellent".[8]
Alongside his work as a performer, Korsgaard has conceived and produced theatrical productions in Denmark and Sweden.[9][10]
Film and television
[edit source]Korsgaard has appeared in feature films and television productions.[11][12][13][14][15]
In 2026, Korsgaard portrayed Gilbert Armenta in the German six-part ZDF miniseries Take the Money and Run, based on the OneCoin fraud case. Armenta is depicted as a close associate and business partner of Ruja Ignatova, portrayed by Nilam Farooq.[16][17][18][19]
Music
[edit source]Alongside his acting career, Korsgaard has worked as a classical singer. He performed with the Swedish vocal ensemble Voces Nordicae, which combined choral music with theatrical performance.[20]
In 2009, Korsgaard and conductor Lone Larsen were featured on BBC Radio 3's Choir and Organ, discussing the ensemble's artistic work.[21]
