Ibrahim Sani (Born 9 July 1984) was formerly the CEO of Yayasan Peneraju Pendidikan Bumiputera[3].
Ibrahim Sani previously held roles as an Investment Banker at CIMB and a former Executive Producer and Presenter at Astro Awani.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Ibrahim Sani was born at Johor Bahru Malaysia in 1984.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the International Islamic University Malaysia[4].
He started his career at Hong Leong Bank, before moving to CIMB. Both as an investment banker.
Career
[edit]He served as the CEO of Yayasan Peneraju from 2023 until 2026. Yayasan Peneraju is a Federal Agency under the Ministry of Economy (Malaysia).
Prior to this, he served as an Executive Producer of Astro AWANI where he has interviewed various luminaries in the business and finance world of Malaysia.
High Profile Interviews
[edit]In 2015, Ibrahim interviewed the CEO of 1MDB, Arul Kanda Kandasamy at Business Radio Station BFM 89.9[5], where Arul denied all allegations [6] and stated that the allegation of audit tampering was false. He was later charged with this crime[7]. Arul Kanda aledged in the interview that 'people don't want to hear the facts because the facts are boring '[8]. However, this denial has been proven in the courts as untrue. Arul Kanda still faces charges in the courts today[9][10].

[edit]Ibrahim often speaks with CEOs of large companies in Malaysia, such as with the CEO of PETRONAS"[11], and Principal Financial Group [12], or with the Research Arm of Telekom Malaysia[13], and with Sime Darby Property[14].

Entry Into Politics
[edit]Ibrahim took a surprising turn where he entered into politics to be a member of Malaysian_United_Party. He was reported to have campaigned for BERSAMA in the Johor State Elections [30].
