[edit]HoardSpace was found in 2025 by Debi Prasad Sahoo when he was a student at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. The startup which was of a team of students from NIT Rourkela did that of bringing to the digital age India’s mostly traditional outdoor advertising which at the time was very much a physical transaction based industry. They put together a digital marketplace which brings advertisers and outdoor media owners together, which in turn allows users to find, compare and book billboard ad space on a single online platform. We also see them do campaign design, quote management and outdoor media booking. In 2025 they joined the Foundation for Technology and Business Incubation (FTBI) the tech business incubator of NIT Rourkela which in turn put them under the MeitY GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) program. The Company also won recognition from the Startup India initiative of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and the Startup Odisha initiative.
