Here and Everywhere is an international rock duo formed in 2025 by Serbian singer Aleksandra Josić and Slovenian composer and drummer Rok Golob.[1]
History
[edit]Early years as KiNG FOO (2013–2025)
[edit]The duo's musical journey began within the four-piece band KiNG FOO, which was formed in 2013. In 2015, Serbian singer Aleksandra Josić took over as the lead vocalist. The first song they recorded in this new lineup was "Galaksije bežijo".[2]
In 2016, they won 3rd place at the Slovenska popevka festival with the ballad "Začaraj me". Aleksandra Josić received the award for Best Interpretation, and Rok Golob won the award for Best Arrangement.[3]
In November 2017, they released their studio album titled GalaXie.[4]
In 2022, they performed as the opening act for the Italian artist Zucchero at the Arena Stožice in Ljubljana,[5] as well as for the rock group Hollywood Vampires at the Burg Clam venue in Austria.[6] In January 2025, they won the award for Best Alternative Rock Band at the 9th Radio Wigwam Awards in London. Here and Everywhere (2025–present)
[edit]In 2025, Aleksandra Josić and Rok Golob established a completely new musical group. Driven by a radical shift in their artistic vision and musical genre, they formed a rock duo and officially named themselves Here and Everywhere. For their live performances, the duo collaborates with an extended lineup of guest musicians.
Just one day after their official formation, they performed as the opening act for the Canadian singer Bryan Adams at the Burg Clam venue in Austria.[8] A month later, they shared the stage with the legendary rock band Scorpions in Tirana, Albania. [9]
In March 2026, the duo posted a cover of Whitesnake's song "Still of the Night" on Facebook, which quickly went viral. In late May 2026, Here and Everywhere released the single "It's in the Way", which is part of their upcoming album Seeker of the Source. Parts of the album were recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, while the entire record was mixed by the renowned producer and multi-Grammy winner Andrew Scheps (known for his work with artists such as Metallica, Beyoncé, Adele, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Sabbath, and Green Day).[10]
In July 2026, the duo performed at the Chauffer dans la Noirceur festival in France.[11]
