goMkt was an American digital marketplace for surplus food. Launched in New York in 2017, it was among the first apps that enabled food retailers to offer unsold or excess food to consumers through discounted, time-limited sales. Customers purchased items through a mobile app and collected them from participating retailers.[1] [2]
