Franklin Balzan (born 26 June 1985) is a Maltese wedding and portrait photographer based in Malta. He is the founder of FBalzan Photography, a photography studio specializing in wedding and destination photography. The work was displayed in Valletta as part of the organization's annual programme highlighting Maltese photographers.[5]
In 2025, Balzan was ranked 12th in the PROWED World Top 100 Wedding Photographers, an annual international ranking published by the Professional Wedding Award (PROWED).[6][7] He was also the highest-ranked photographer from Malta in that year's list, a result reported by the Maltese news outlet Lovin Malta.[8]
Balzan's work has appeared in a number of international publications. In August 2025, photographs taken by him were featured in The New York Times Weddings in coverage of a wedding held at Villa Bologna in Malta.[9] The same wedding was subsequently featured by Junebug Weddings in November 2025.[10]
