Erika Woods is an American actress, producer and former fashion model. She is best known for her recurring role as Stephanie “Pop” Henry in the Starz crime drama series Power Book III: Raising Kanan.

Early life and education

Woods was born in Tyler, Texas, and raised in Overland Park, Kansas. She began acting as a child through the Theatre for Young America program in Kansas.

She attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theatre.

Career

After graduating from Howard University, Woods moved to New York City to pursue acting and modeling. She was scouted by the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency on the same day she was laid off from a journalism position with the National Football League.

As a commercial model, Woods appeared in national print advertisements and cosmetics campaigns. She later signed with Paradigm Talent Agency and appeared in more than 30 national television commercials.

Woods transitioned into television and film acting, appearing in productions including The Michael J. Fox Show, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, Across the Universe and Burning Cane. She also served as an associate producer on the independent feature film Santorini Blue.

In 2023, Woods joined the third season of the Starz crime drama series Power Book III: Raising Kanan. She portrays Stephanie “Pop” Henry opposite Wendell Pierce.
