Bald Range fire is an ongoing wildfire in Summerland, British Columbia in the Okanagan. It started on Friday, August 7, 2026 and quickly exploded up to 5000 hectares, and by August 8 it was 10,000 hectares. As a result, the entire community of Summerland was evacuated with nearby Peachland put in Alert. It is onw of the most significant and quickest wildfires of the year.[2][3][4][5][6]
