Brandon Francis (born Justin Christopher Davis; 9 March 1981) is a British actor, producer and screenwriter. He began his acting career with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain in London before working in theatre, film, and television in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan.[1][2]
Francis has appeared in Japanese film and television productions, including Jishaku Otoko, Gekitsui and Saiki K.[3] His film work has included involvement in Kicking It, Skyfall and The Legend of Tarzan, although scenes featuring Francis in Skyfall and The Legend of Tarzan were ultimately cut from the released films.
Francis has also worked as a writer and producer. His 2012 short film Bollocks, in which he starred as Bob, was written and produced by Francis. The film won Best Short Film at the 2012 Peloponnesian Film Festival.[4][5]
Francis has worked under several professional names and variations of both his legal and stage names, making it difficult to compile a complete record of his screen and stage credits, particularly in Japan.
In addition to his acting and writing career, Francis is also a novelist. His fantasy novel The Fallen Swallow was published in 2024 under the name Justin C. Davis, followed by its sequel, The Deathly Shadow, in 2026.[6]
