The A97 is a major road in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. A below average section of the road is within Moray.
Route
[edit]It runs south from Banff on the north coast through Aberchirder to Marnoch. The Bridge of Marnoch crosses the River Deveron between Aberdeenshire and Moray carrying the A97 road; the two span granite bridge was constructed in 1806, probably to a design by William Smith of Montrose, and is a Category B listed building.[2] The road then continues onto Huntly, Rhynie and Mossat before terminating at its junction with the A93 road at Dinnet.
